I have seen some Sci-Fi channel movies that could make this list, but I am not sure if they are allowed to be included as everyone is listing movies that aired in theaters only.

That's a good one!  What was the point of that movie?

I think the point of that one was the same as "Steve Zissou and the Life Aquatic." Whatever that was ...

Pretty much any more where a political view is pushed upon the audience in favor of a well-written piece of cinematography.

Dated a Born Again for a brief spell in 2007.  The things I did to get laid back then.  Ditched her when I discovered her plan to eventually get me baptized.

Sex is a valid reason to see a Cameron written movie.

If she was banging you outside of marriage she couldn't have been that into it. Kirk Cameron wouldn't have approved.

I'll preface this with the caveat that my best buddy and I have a long history of seeking out shitty movies to see.

Bad movies we've paid money for in a theater:

-Jaws the Revenge

-Burglar (had ONE funny scene, as the end credits rolled)

-The Transporter Refueled (or was it Reloaded? Whatever, it came out last Fall)

-Dragon War (nice that they tried to give it a slang sub-title: "D-War")

-Shooter (I think that's what it was called. With Marky Mark, circa 2007)

-Lawnmower Man

-We saw "Howard the Duck" when it first came out in the theaters.. but we were about 12 or 13, at the time, and actually kinda' liked it. Ditto for "Flash Gordon", when I was 6. Even liked the Ben Affleck "Daredevil" when I was in my late 20's and in total comic geek mode.

I almost forgot this one, and God knows I have tried - The Beaver with Jodie Foster and Mel Gibson. Saw it with my wife knowing nothing about it based on a single review. Abolutely awful.

I'll put this in the context of movies that were made with an eye towards reaching some level of commercial or creative success as opposed to low budget stuff.

A friend and I rented "Hudson Hawk" a couple of years after it came out and bombed, just to see if it really was as bad as everyone said. It was. We couldn't get through it and eventually turned it off. The movie was only 100 minutes long yet it felt as if we'd been watching for hours.

It has a lot of fans, but I thought "Devil's Advocate" was awful. Keanu Reeves isn't as bad as many say, but he brought nothing to the table here. Al Pacino was coasting on overacting post "Scent of a Woman".

"Batman and Robin" deserves scorn too. I kept watching, hoping it would get better, but it never did. "Batman" had plenty of camp courtesy of Jack Nicholson's performance as The Joker, but there was style to it and a malevolence that was beneath the surface and often above it. The camp here was for camp's sake and took away from the film. It's as if everyone associated with the movie forgot what made the Tim Burton film so great.
