The best part of "Jaws, the Revenge" besides the shark actually hunting Brody's family down, is the shark roared lol..

I remember getting home from Lawnmower Man and writing up a scathing review in my "journal" notebook. I called it something like "making a movie with SegaScope 3-D and expecting money from it". I know I have that notebook still hidden somewhere. I'd track it down, but I'm pretty sure the entry soon rambled into pining for a girl I worked with.

Probably around the time I realized that Stephen King's name wasn't automatically a Seal of Approval to me, anymore. The TV airings of "It" and "Golden Years" had started to sour me, then "Lawnmower Man" confirmed it.

Digging deep for this one... but I remember being in first grade and my dad took my brother and I to see a nearly-porn movie called "Lunch Wagon". At the regular neighborhood theater. I couldn't figure out what was going on. Although I remembered feeling "funny" at certain parts of the movie. My dad would put me in a headlock, cover my eyes and say: "don't look, sexy broads" every time someone took their top off. My brother was 12 or 13, so I'm sure he had a different experience.

I looked up "Lunch Wagon", years later. Definite "USA: Up All Night" fodder. And the broads weren't sexy.

Bad movies we've paid money for in a theater:

-Jaws the Revenge

-Burglar (had ONE funny scene, as the end credits rolled)

-The Transporter Refueled (or was it Reloaded? Whatever, it came out last Fall)

-Dragon War (nice that they tried to give it a slang sub-title: "D-War")

-Shooter (I think that's what it was called. With Marky Mark, circa 2007)

-Lawnmower Man

-We saw "Howard the Duck" when it first came out in the theaters.. but we were about 12 or 13, at the time, and actually kinda' liked it. Ditto for "Flash Gordon", when I was 6. Even liked the Ben Affleck "Daredevil" when I was in my late 20's and in total comic geek mode.

Lawnmower Man! Now, that shit sucked!
I also liked Howard the Duck as a kid. Haven't seen it in years. I still love Flash Gordon to this day

One of those Hannibal Lecter prequels that show him as a young man in some European country. It was beyond bad.

Don't get me wrong, i can't stand this fat windbag, but I actually like this documentary. Because I'm from the rust belt, this movie resonated with me.

Dated a Born Again for a brief spell in 2007.  The things I did to get laid back then.  Ditched her when I discovered her plan to eventually get me baptized.

If she was banging you outside of marriage she couldn't have been that into it. Kirk Cameron wouldn't have approved.

Born Agains never see the irony in that.

They just become "born again virgins" where the Lord miracles all the dick they've received out if their body.        The irony there, is that, if you meet a chick who claims to be "born again virgin," she's sure to have ingested quite the bounty of cock in her time. It basically translates to, "I've been a huge whore, but won't give you any unless you marry me."

I went there under a fog thinking it would be an entertaining expose.  It was the single most boring piece of shit I'd ever seen.  It's right there with the George Will baseball book published around the same time that I put down after a few pages.

So both the far left and far right have the ability to equally suck at the arts.

Couldn't stand Roger and Me, but I was fascinated by Men At Work (Will's book).  I met Oral Herscheiser at the Little League World Series a couple years ago and the first thing I said to him was how much I thought of his contribution to the book.  It's one thing to be a fan of the game and think you're smart, it's another to understand how the players approach the tiniest details.  And with the book being 25 years old, I'd imagine the approach is totally different today.

You had better attention span than I did regarding "Men At Work".  I couldn't get into it at all. The only book that caused me less ability to focus my uncle wrote on Aristotle that I read in a college philosophy class.
