Donald J. Trump was caught on tape bragging in vulgar terms about making sexual advances toward a married woman, aggressively kissing and groping other women, and boasting that “when you’re a star they let you do it.”
The remarkable recording, unearthed by The Washington Post on Friday, was made in 2005 on the set of a soap opera where Mr. Trump was making a cameo appearance. Mr. Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, was captured on an open microphone that he apparently did not know was recording his conversation with Billy Bush, then the host of “Access Hollywood,” with whom he was sitting on a bus.
The lewd discussion offers more insight into how Mr. Trump has spoken about women in private and adds to evidence that he has a penchant for sexist behavior.
Mr. Trump said on Friday that he was sorry if his language offended anyone.
“This was locker room banter, a private conversation that took place many years ago. Bill Clinton has said far worse to me on the golf course — not even close,” Mr. Trump said in a statement. “I apologize if anyone was offended.”
During one part of the conversation, Mr. Trump discussed an incident where his advances were rebuffed by a woman. The conversation was recorded after he was already married to Melania Trump, his third and current wife.

“I moved on her and I failed. I’ll admit it,” Mr. Trump, approaching 60 years old at the time, says.
Undeterred by her marital status, he adds: “I did try and fuck her. She was married.”
It is not clear whom he was referring to, but Mr. Trump says in very graphic terms that he “moved on” the woman “very heavily,” taking her shopping for furniture as a way to spend time with her.
“I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there. And she was married,” Mr. Trump says. “Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony tits and everything.”
Mr. Trump has been aggressively courting Christian conservative voters while making former President Bill Clinton’s history of infidelity an issue in the campaign. The recording could prove damaging to his efforts to seem presidential and could add to his problems appealing to female voters with a month to go before the election.
At one point, the conversation in the recording is interrupted when an actress arrives to escort Mr. Trump and Mr. Bush to the set.
“You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them,” Mr. Trump says. “It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait.”

He goes on to explain that his celebrity had made such encounters possible.
“And when you’re a star they let you do it,” Mr. Trump says. “You can do anything.”
Mr. Trump then elaborated and added, “Grab them by the pussy.”
The release of the recording comes two days before Mr. Trump will face Hillary Clinton in the second presidential debate.
Mrs. Clinton said on Twitter that the recording was more evidence that Mr. Trump is unfit to lead the country.
“This is horrific,” she said. “We cannot allow this man to become president.”
Mr. Trump’s history of making sexist comments about women has caused him trouble before, but he has largely brushed them off as things he said as an entertainer. The new recording could pose more difficult challenges for the Trump campaign, and Democrats were already pressuring Republicans to disavow Mr. Trump.
“These vile comments from Donald Trump cannot be excused,” said Gov. Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire, who is running to unseat Senator Kelly Ayotte, a Republican. “It is beyond comprehension how Senator Ayotte could continue to support this man for the highest office in the land, let alone call him a role model.”

Mr. Trump’s comments could also prove difficult for Gov. Mike Pence, his running mate, an evangelical Christian, to defend. And it could make the joint campaign appearance that Mr. Trump has scheduled with Speaker Paul D. Ryan this weekend an awkward affair.
“This is the moment candidates should use to cut ties with Trump,” said Mike Murphy, a Republican strategist. “I recommend Paul come down with a dental emergency tonight.”

Trump supporters are already saying ,"But Hillary stays married to a rapist..." It's always about the other person, it doesn't matter. The average person isn't intelligent enough to have an original opinion, much less have that opinion changed.

But Billy Bush, oh that motherfucker is fucking fucked.

Did Hillary ever hint at being raped by her spouse like Trump wife #1 or #2 wrote in her book?

And this is news how? Trump being a womanizer isn't exactly the discovery of the ages. No, it doesn't look good, but people shouldn't really be surprised.

No one is surprised.  Literally, no one- but people are more dumbfounded that a guy running for fucking POTUS would be stupid enough to be caught on a live mic saying anything like that

I'd be embarrassed to have this clown represent my country as POTUS.  Are people THIS desperate for change?  This is like The Dark Knight when the bad guys turned to the Joker, only this guy's make up is orange

The apology video from this morning is going to kill his cred more than the original comments. It's low-energy Trump, sounding exhausted, reading a boilerplate apology about regretting his comments and "these comments don't reflect who I am", basically a word-for-word copy of every other apology you've ever heard. It's so un-Trump, so scripted, so phony. He was finally forced to give in to his campaign team and become what he hates most, just another politician doing damage control.

It's to point out his misogynistic actions and views.  No, people shouldn't be surprised if they're paying attention but I think it's been stated many times that people have their heads up their asses.  For men to dismiss it is sad and for women to embrace it and accept it for what it is, are sadder

Wait, so Democrats could take away all your fossil fuels and guuuhhnns and then just have to say that they shouldn't be surprised? Nothing stupider than somebody who doesn't give a fuck about reality, but rather decides what his opinion is depending on the (D) or (R) after a name (or an issue). No wonder you ended up in this mess.
Still, Brexit has taught me that Trump is not necessarily beaten yet. Ah, the audacity of hope. Or rather the audacity of hate. *shakes fist at elite*

If this whole disaster wasn't so completely predictable, is almost feel sorry for Republicans. But they're getting what they deserve and they're the ones who allowed Trump to blow up their party.

Just because the Republican leadership doesn't like Trump as their party's nominee, is there anything that they can do about it? The American people voted him in. For some reason, I think Trump is "Teflon Don" - no matter what stupid thing he does, his supporters will still vote for him.

John McCain has rescinded his endorsement of Trump, and in even bigger news the RNC has basically given up on Trump, sending a memo to all staffers to immediately halt all e-mail and snail mail promotion of Trump until further notice. To say this is unprecedented in a year of unprecedented things is an understatement.

Part of me wonders if the RNC withdrawing its support could actually help Trump. Lots of people might now view Trump as even more of a political outsider which has been one of the reasons for Trump's success. Could Democrats that are disenfranchised with Hillary be more inclined to vote for Trump now that he and the RNC are at odds?

I think that ship has sailed. They might vote third party or just not vote at all, but no disenfranchised Democrat is voting Trump at this point. And no one still "undecided" is anymore either. It's over.

There's no way it helps him but it also is very easy to 'shake off'. That was 10 years ago and I am a different person now. I regret that this came out and it is something that happened that I am ashamed of.

There I just did it for him.

Let me say one thing on this, and it's not a defense of Trump's politcal career at all.

As big of a racist fucking clown Donald Sterling is/was, I had the same opinion regarding that situation when it went down.  You basically had a private conversation, that time actually within the confines of his own home, with no intent of those words ever leaving those walls.  That private conversation cost the man millions upon millions of dollars.  Hell, I've had a lot of private conversations in my own house that are nobody's business.

The Trump situation is a little different, but in many ways the same.  The conversation happened 11 years ago.  I'm not even sure what the context of the conversation was.  The clip that I saw showed a bus.  Was Trump on a bus with Billy Bush?  Did he know he was being recorded?

I know I've had a lot of lockerroom banter with buddies on the train or at a bar.  Some of those conversations happened a decade ago.  I don't know if I ever said I would grab a chick by her *****, but I've probably spoken about waitresses or other woman in ways that could perhaps be re-stated in more professional terms if I.....

a.) knew I was being recorded.b.) looked into a crystal ball and knew I would be running for office 11 years in the future.
Again, I can't stand the thought of seeing either of these idiots become President, so this is not an endorsement of Trump, but releasing private recordings from a decade ago without his consent is really lame.

Donald Sterling was legitimately set-up, entrapped, and pretty much blackmailed in the privacy of his own home. Donald Trump is too stupid to realize when a mic is hot as he's roaming around a TV set with a reporter. HUGE DIFFERENCE.

Was he on a tv set and mic'd up?  The context that I saw on one clip was that he was on a bus with Billy Bush, pulling up to a set.  I don't know, but the conversation clearly was private and not intended to be broadcast.  Again, I'm not defending the nut, but I just think it's shitty to air private conversations to take someone down.  I cussed out a cabbie the other day that blew a stop sign when I was picking my kid up from school.  If that aired on CNN, I'm pretty sure I'd lose my job and be in jail right now :)

Tic Tac found itself at the center of the Donald Trump controversy when theWashington Post released a 2005 tape in which the GOP candidate explained to Jeb Bush’s cousin Billy that he uses Tic Tacs before meeting a woman because sometimes he just starts kissing them if they’re beautiful.
In a statement, Tic Tac carefully navigated the marketing minefield, condemning the comment without mentioning the man:
Tic Tac respects all women. We find the recent statements and behavior completely inappropriate and unacceptable.

“I’m going to use some Tic Tacs in case I start kissing her,” Trump said to Billy Bushin the video, as they pulled up in a bus at a soap opera studio, where an actress was waiting to welcome them in the parking lot and take them inside.
“I’m automatically attracted to beautiful – I just start kissing them.  It’s like a magnet. Just kiss, I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything, grab them by the pussy. You can do anything,” Trump is heard in the recording, which WaPo broke two days before the candidate’s second debate with Dem candidate Hillary Clinton.

There's reportedly footage of Trump repeatedly using the N word that people have been sitting on, and it's about to be released.  Apparently it's coming from people within "The Apprentice" camp who have him on tape using the word many times while filming. There's a $5 million penalty they could face for releasing it, which is a standard Mark Burnett Productions confidentiality clause, but Mark Cuban has been asked to cover it. Burnett is aware of the footage and is a Trunp supporter so he has tried to protect him, but he can't any longer.

I can't feel sorry for this guy. He wanted to get into politics and much like everything else he tried, he wasn't very good at it. He is being utterly destroyed and will be a pariah in most circles for the rest of his life.

And oh, by the way, damaging Wikileaks have been popping Hilliary this weekend too, pretty bad stuff that could end an ordinary campaign, but Trump is just so disgusting that no one's even talking about them. The GOP really could've won this with a normal candidate. They deserve what they get and I hope the entire party burns to the ground.

Maher had Assange on a couple of months ago and got in his face about his favourism for Mother Russia and their interests in the US. At this moment I can't really blame anyone if they were to call Wikileaks a part of the "fifth column". The old anti-communism conservatives really seem to be in retirement homes or graveyards if almost nobody cares.

Maher's interview with Asange was disgraceful and shows what a complete Hillary shill he has become.  It's sad how so many media types don't want their favorites picked on.  Asange has released some really damaging stuff about Hillary, but the combination of Trump's leaks being more sensational and the MSM not covering it much has led to almost no one talking about it.  And it's not like Asange likes Trump either.

As I said before though, the GOP went forward 100% with their candidate and get what they deserve.  Many other Republicans would really be making Hillary feel the heat right now, and instead Hillary has this locked up a month out like I can never remember in my lifetime before (even the Doukakis debacle had some intrigue later than this).

Trump and Paul Ryan are back at it again, with Ryan seemingly discarding Trump once and for all (he means it this time!) by saying that he will no longer defend Trump or even speak of him and says he will focus "entirely" on congressional races.

Trump took this well of course, tweeting "Paul Ryan should spend more time on balancing the budget, jobs and illegal immigration and not waste his time on fighting Republican nominee".

In the meantime, Marco Rubio tweeted mean Internet words at Trump following Pussygate, but unlike many others he did not rescind his endorsement.  He's under intense pressure today to do so, from his Democratic opponent as well as some within the GOP, and that could happen at any time.

This morning Trump tweeted "It is so nice that the shackles have been taken off me and I can now fight for America the way I want to" in a shot at Paul Ryan and the Republican establishment who I guess was holding him back.

It was part of a long series of angry tweets last night and this morning where Trump focused some of his wrath on Hillary but most of it on the disloyalty of his own party.  "With the exception of cheating Bernie out of the nom the Dems have always proven to be far more loyal to each other than the Republicans!"

Interesting strategy for the stretch run.  I think he knows it's over and now will concentrate on blaming everyone but himself for losing.

TNA's own Maria Kanellis has been thrust into the middle of Pussygate.  I'm surprised she didn't tweet about this herself since she's a huge Hillary backer.

https://www.yahoo.com/celebrity/donald-trump-fired-a-female-contestant-on-the-135118629.html

Oh, the irony! Donald Trump once fired a contestant on The Celebrity Apprentice for her “locker-room” talk.

In resurfaced footage of the show in 2010, the former host reprimanded professional wrestler Maria Kanellis for using the word “crap” in his boardroom, and threw her out.

Kanellis was confronting fellow contestant Curtis Stone for using the ladies restroom, and said: “The reason why I said you were so arrogant was because you came in our dressing room and you took a crap and left the stench in the room.”

But Trump took offense to the language and sided with the Australian chef calling her accusations a “little below the belt.”

Even as she attempted to defend herself the 70-year-old said: “It is sort of gross, though, bringing that up. It’s like disgusting.”
He then delivered the line, “This is my boardroom, it’s not a locker room, Maria you’re fired.”

The clip, which was posted on The Daily Show’s Twitter page on Monday, October 10, comes in the wake of Trump defending his own vile comments about women, that were captured in a hot mic moment in 2005.

During the second presidential debate on Sunday, October 9, he once again brushed off the degrading conversation he had with Billy Bush 11 years ago.

“I’m not proud of it. I apologize to my family,” he said during the debate with Hillary Clinton in St. Louis. "I apologize to the American people. Certainly I’m not proud of it. But this is locker-room talk.”

PWInsider:

Following the recent controversy over footage of United States Presidential Republican nominee Donald Trump for comments made years ago that he has dismissed as "locker room talk", TNA star Maria Kanellis-Bennett's time on "The Apprentice" with Donald Trump has come to the forefront again as she was "fired" from the series for bringing "locker room talk" into Trump's "boardroom."  The scene was shown on Comedy Central's "Daily Show" this past Monday.

Kanellis-Bennett was interviewed by Entertainment Tonight about the controversy and commented, "He fired me for what I said, and what he said was much worse so.  My hope is that he gets fired as the Republican nominee."

Kanellis-Bennett also told a story about comments Trump made to her in his boardroom, noting that he told her she should have a mole on her shoulder removed because it's an imperfection and while it didn't bother her at the time, the recent comments that have come to light makes them bother her now, because it shows Trump's true nature.

Not to worry, my cousin who is a politics expert has deduced that the Clinton's hired a voice double to say all that stuff back in 2005.

For some reason, I think Trump is "Teflon Don" - no matter what stupid thing he does, his supporters will still vote for him.

Everyone is Teflon when they have an R or D next to their name because "the other one" is even worse. The American people are beyond redemption.

Better than Paul Ryan. After everything he's put him through, that spineless twat still voted for Trump.
