It's been rumored before, but maybe this year it happens. The Big Aristotle and the "World's Largest Athlete" are on a collision course for a battle of giants at WrestleMania 33 on April 2 in Orlando, Fla. It's long been rumored that Basketball Hall of Famer and current TNT NBA analyst Shaquille O'Neal would step inside the squared circle for World Wrestling Entertainment at its biggest event of the year, going one-on-one with the 7-foot, 400-pound Big Show. The two have teased it on numerous occasions, evencrossing paths at last year's ESPY Awards to help lay the groundwork. O'Neal recently posted a video of himself getting himself into shape for a potential match on his Instagram account, also calling out the former WWE World Champion in the process. The 15-time All-Star was a surprise participant in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32, which included a standoff with Big Show.

I thought his appearance last year in the Andre Battle Royal was all to set this up. I was under the impression that it was pretty much locked in. Gotta be better than Show vs. Akebono, surely.

Can't say for certain, but I'm guessing Shaq's blown his NBA millions and is desperate for cash. Why else would he be spokesperson for The General Auto Insurance and Icy Hot? I wouldn't be surprised if I see him plugging The Law Offices of Jacoby and Myers on daytime TV at some point.

Maybe he needs to be more selective in the products that he promotes, but I'm sure he's got a fortune and is wrestling for the fun of it. He's been making wrestling appearances for 20 or so years now and there were rumors of him joining the NWO to team with Hogan around the time that Rodman was there.

Jesus Tap Dancing Christ is there anyone who really wants to see this shit? Lawrence Taylor said he felt like he was going to die and he was only two years out of playing pro ball.
