The United States Senate has confirmed World Wrestling Entertainment CEO Linda McMahon as the new head of the Small Business Administration. She was confirmed today by a vote of 81-19, which means many Democrats supported her appointment and didn't vote along party lines.

Yes she actually is qualified. She also tossed a lot of cash his way in donations. But, that's a different peeve of mine and applies independently of any qualifications. The McMahons (both of them) are smart business people.

Just a number that floated around, but from 1980 until Betsy you had 44 combined no votes. Though with this administration cycle all precedent and reason has gone out the window probably . Linda is the best of the bunch, which might not mean too much. Hell, I'm praising Rick Perry for being willing to learn!
