Tonight on Raw (11/2), Lana suffered a squash at the hands of Nia Jax, who put her through the announce table after the match. I believe they said this was the 7th time Lana had been put through the table by Nia Jax.

I assume the end game is that she will put Nia through a table eventually and will become an unstoppable babyface monster for a few weeks.

Odds are better that Lana becomes paralyzed from the neck down before they pay off the angle, or Vince just loses interest and sends her off to Main Event to wrestle Dana Brooke every week for a year.

It's almost like, Vince is booking Lana like she's the AEW Women's Champion who is guest appearing on Raw each week, and this is what he would like to do to their champion if he could.

Not sure how much the fans would care, but this really is a case where the payoff in front of a live audience would mean so much more than in front of a Skype crowd.

This is seriously my favorite part of Raw every week.

This week on Raw (11/16), Lana got herself booked into a 6-man tag, teaming with Shayna and Nia. During the match, Baszler had her finisher locked in, but Lana had tagged herself in prior to that. Since Lana was legal, the submission couldn't take place. Once Lana got into the ring, she got verbally trashed by her teammates, kicked, and instantly tapped to Asuka for the loss. I will never understand why the WWE feels the need to humiliate and punish wrestlers on air for things going on in real life off air. If you don't want to push someone, take the wrestler off TV. Fire the wrestler. If I thought that constantly beating up Lana and making her look like an idiot would eventually lead to some sort of redemptive push with her getting revenge on Nia Jax, it would be one thing. However, Lana doesn't have the talent as a wrestler to make something of a push like that were it to occur. For that matter, the WWE goes so overboard on heels getting heat on babyfaces that the fans don't care enough about the babyfaces if or when they get revenge. It's all very self defeating on the WWE's part.

She was a great manager, so I don't see the need to turn her into a wrestler. They did it to Zelina Vega as well. It's good that they can wrestle, so they can bump and interfere and wrestle here and there as an attraction, but when they aren't top level wrestlers, but are top level talkers, they shouldn't be full time wrestlers.
