Agreed, and I think there's a pretty good argument that over the last 8-9 weeks she's the biggest jobber in the history of the division, so any push wouldn't be believable at this point. I'm pretty sure she did a two move job last week, after taking a verbal thrashing where you can hear Nia telling her she sucks loudly. I don't remember any 80's or 90's jobbers being treated like that.

I just watched this Chronicle episode, and they certainly are trying to present a completely different person than the one I saw on Total Divas a few years ago. It used to be that arriving in WWE was an accomplishment that allowed you a high profile vehicle to be seen, and eventually other opportunities could arise for folks like Jesse, Piper and The Rock. Now people arrive in WWE from the outside and have their own agendas that the company may or may not see value in for themselves. If they don't see your vision, your time there isn't going to be pleasant because you'll be broken down through their booking or you will escape. Shawshank had a sewer to crawl through for the latter option, and be prepared for the foul odor if you choose the latter in the Fed.
