If that happens, it’ll be some fluke and nothing will come of it. She’s un-pushable at her talent level so this is all pettiness and silliness that gets no one over.

She was a great manager, so I don't see the need to turn her into a wrestler.  They did it to Zelina Vega as well. It's good that they can wrestle, so they can bump and interfere and wrestle here and there as an attraction, but when they aren't top level wrestlers, but are top level talkers, they shouldn't be full time wrestlers.

Good call.  Look how well Bobby Heenan could bump as a manager.  Many feel he is the greatest manager of all time.  He was perfect for the role.

Agreed, and I think there's a pretty good argument that over the last 8-9 weeks she's the biggest jobber in the history of the division, so any push wouldn't be believable at this point.  I'm pretty sure she did a two move job last week, after taking a verbal thrashing where you can hear Nia telling her she sucks loudly.  I don't remember any 80's or 90's jobbers being treated like that.

The problem here is that WWE think that one big win equals a push. Remember when Otis won the MITB briefcase. He broke a ladder because he is fat, and he caught the briefcase when Styles fumbled it, and he won, and that fluke win was supposed to get him over. Then they took away his partner, his girlfriend (off-screen, even) and then his briefcase. I guarantee that he is being told backstage by Vince and others that he was given a great push this year.

Oh I have no doubt that Vince sincerely believes he WAS pushed, and because the ratings didn't spike he somehow failed.  It's all Otis' fault.

if TRUE OH YEEEEAHHHH...

I like otis he seems like an old school wrestler and he has a lot of in ring charisma that could make him a huge star but he doesn't fit into Vince look of a wrestler

I would find that very hard to believe, and I've never heard it.  Last I heard she was banging Tino Sabbtelli, although that may have ended.

No, no. What I meant was that, after spending months getting them together, their splitting up was just dealt with in a throw-away line on commentary.

I don't pay close enough attention so I must've missed it.  I thought they were still supposed to be together even though they were on different brands.  I didn't hear they "broke up".

Oh I am not saying Lana is getting a push of any kind. I am saying she might get the fluke win.

The new WWE Chronicle features Lana, and the documentary starts off with her crying as she reads mean tweets about her being out through a table every week. Lol

Oh my God, this doc is brutal.

“Without live events my only interaction with people is through my Instagram and Twitter and everyone is just so mean. Every time I post something everyone is like ‘You should be fired’, ‘You suck’.  I remember texting my parents and writing ‘Please pray for me.’  My mental health is really bad, I can’t take it anymore.” (weeps uncontrollably).

What exactly is this supposed to accomplish?  Am I supposed to be cheering for this person to win a wrestling match now?

And doesn’t every celebrity on the planet know by now that you should just promote what you have to promote but NEVER read the comments?  No good will ever come from that.

I don't watch the current product, but Vince McMahon is a vindictive ass. Sins of the father (or in this case, husband) type of scenario. Fuck that Bela Lugosi looking mother fucker.

I just watched this Chronicle episode, and they certainly are trying to present a completely different person than the one I saw on Total Divas a few years ago.  As for her character, it's really hard to draw sympathy considering the botch job they've done booking her over the last 2 years.

It used to be that arriving in WWE was an accomplishment that allowed you a high profile vehicle to be seen, and eventually other opportunities could arise for folks like Jesse, Piper and The Rock. Now people arrive in WWE from the outside and have their own agendas that the company may or may not see value in for themselves. If they don't see your vision, your time there isn't going to be pleasant because you'll be broken down through their booking or you will escape. Shawshank had a sewer to crawl through for the latter option, and be prepared for the foul odor if you choose the latter in the Fed.
