Who’s done any travel so far ? My biggest issue is lodging. Went fishing on Pere Marquette & slept in camper. In New York stayed @ close relatives. I had trip to Jupiter, FL canceled in May & not sure if/when I’ll retry but have flight credit until 2022 to use up. I was thinking home rental for week might be safer but nothing is fully official from Cooties-19. Bars/restaurants have been axed by me besides take out but activities to do aren’t that hard to find during all this. It’s travel/lodging. No car rentals for me either for now

Yep. right now we're seeing three week "pauses" around the Chicago area.  The Park District just went on a three week pause.  Chicago and Cook County are advising a stay at home unless you're going to work, school, or shopping.  I don't see how any three week pause doesn't extend through the entire winter at this point.  Nothing's going to be better three weeks from now.

This is the first year since 2014 we didn't go see at least one new MLB park in person.

In August we went on a road trip to Maine for a week and also spent some time on the way up and down in New Hampshire. There were few cases in those areas at that time and other than the usual (social distancing and masks indoors), we had a normal vacation. We stayed at a place that had like 20 cabins next to each other for rental, so it wasn’t a traditional hotel room and was more private, but we were satisfied that it was well cleaned.

We might do another road trip to the Carolinas in February depending on how things look there at the time. I would not go on a plane right now, especially with a 3-year old, for all the money in the world.

When Trump wins all the electoral votes he'll reopen everything. If Biden wins all the electoral votes the leftists would use all their voodoo empathy magic and all covid spikes will disappear.

I managed to get to Frankfurt, Gibraltar, and Bologna between lockdowns - did quite a bit of touring around the Rhineland and Emilia-Romagna. It also meant I added 2 countries to my visited list, namely Switzerland (thanks to a day in Berne, a charming mediaeval city centre, with some scabrous fountain statues), and San Marino (microstate surrounded by Italy, based around a mountain fortress). Which takes me up to 67.

I have time off in December so will see if there's a last-minute deal available, but that depends on our lockdown ending when it's meant to end.
