Seems like we lost Buddy today. I've been Facebook friends with the guy for years. Such a nice, kind man. He was always so worried about his wifes health and his pooches health. He seemed very happy leading a simple life. It looks like it was very sudden because he was posting away on Facebook just the day before yesterday. RIP to one of the good guys.

On Monday I posted some Ron Reed era photos someone had up on a Capitol Wrestling group which he saw and liked. Spot on that Buddy was always worried about others. Got to see him honored at CAC with Bobby Heenan joking that he legitimately had 47 people in attendance "...and that's just in ONE car!"

So this is interesting. Buddy's wife posted this on his FB page. I wonder what's behind this. You know it's serious when she types in all caps and uses more than one exclamation point. PLEASE EVERYONE DO NOT GO TO A SERVICE BRIAN BLAIR IS TRYING TO DO!!!!! HE IS DOING EXACTLY WHAT BUDDY MY HUSBAND DID NOT WANT!!! HE IS DOING IT BEHIND MY BACK!!! I BEG YOU BRIAN BLAIR DON"T DO THIS!!! BUDDY WILL HATE YOU FOR THIS. I WILL HAVE IT STOPPED!!!! HIS FAMILY IS A VINDICTIVE BUNCH OF PEOPLE. THEY ARE SAYING BUDDYS DEATH IS MY FAULT. Ok so here we are ten minutes later and Buddy's wife has calmed down a bit. Disengaged the Caps Lock and is using her best GED level punctuation. This could get good. Facebook....ya gotta love it. Buddy's family wanted him to pick them or me. He said I choose my wife I will always choose my wife. And he stopped having anything to do with them. I loved him I took care of him I did everything he needed. They hate me so they are going behind my back with Brian Blair as their Patsy! I am sick about this.

I have talked with two of the kids, and yes, Lorraine essentially kept them away from Buddy for the last decade. Not sure there's a story there beyond that. He also recently confirmed and acknowledged another daughter via a DNA test.

Not sure what number wife Lorraine is, but for the last 20+ years, she essentially kept Buddy away from his kids, and he had to go around her to even talk to them. A couple just threw up their arms and gave up.

Buddy's wife is on Facebook now saying that Buddy actually committed suicide. She said it was the result of pain from his ring career as well as the Parkinson's he was suffering from. This was quite the surprise.

I knew that at the time, but it's not good journalism to print that. Or at least that was the way I was taught. Now, had she posted it at the time, I would have to had to include that.
