An interesting topic.

Him as a wrestler. Hall Of Fame? Was he a great worker and a draw? Or just 'good'

Then obviously he potentially has a ton of influence on the history of wrestling going forward.

Where would he be without being attached to Stephanie McMahon?

Good but an overrated underachiever both as wrestler & ‘gatekeeper’ behind the scenes. Jack of all trades but master of none. I think Pat Patterson was way better

I'd say 'very good' but clearly 'third banana' because at his 'peak' he wasn't as strong as The Rock or Steve Austin. Two tough acts to top. Bad timing.

I'm not sure where he'd be if he didn't marry Stephanie. That's a tough one.

I was never a fan even before his "peak". Just never did it for me...and when he was elevated to wrestling god status it was a huge turn-off to the product.

He was always in the ring with the draws. Was he big draw? I don't know. I would get tired of him. And considering how much stroke and say he had and used it it sort of poisons your view of him. I was never a fan.

Bad timing or good timing?  He got the rub from Austin, Rock, Foley, and 'Taker over the years, plus got to take over Shawn Michaels' DX group after he "retired".  Without those 5 guys, all mega-stars well above him, he might be Drew McIntyre or Bobby Lashley, a dude getting pushed that no one cares about.  Would you rather be the top guy in a dead company or one of several top guys when everything is on fire?  He was surrounded by incredible talent who made him seem like a much bigger star, at a time when the crowds were popping for everything and mid-carders were getting asked to do late night talk shows, and in an environment where he was allowed to ask girls to take their tops off on every show.  Honestly, he should be an even bigger deal.  If you can't turn all of that into being the greatest wrestler ever, then there's no hope.  I haven't even gotten into him being married to the boss' daughter.  No one was handed more.  In the ring, yes, he was very good.  Obviously lots of guys are though.  He doesn't come close to cracking the Top 20 WWE wrestlers of all-time in an objective list, and he probably should've been able to.

I can't think of one time when I was excited by the prospect of a Triple H match. If you told me that Rock, Austin, Foley, Undertaker, Bret, Shawn.... were headlingijg a show, I would be there. If you told me it was Triple H, I'd ask who he's fighting. He's not interesting to me at all, and took "methodical" to a new, and very slow, level. Of course he's had good matches, but show me a good Triple H match and I'll show you a great opponent. On a par with Randy Orton to me. Technically very proficient and never makes any mistakes, but..... BOOOOORINGGGG.

Good but over rated. I can't think of one HHH match that sticks in my mind. Thought when he started bringing in a sledge hammer it made him look weak.

This. He was a solid but rather boring guy who was made even better by the megastars of the generation and then married the boss’ daughter.

A fundamentally solid guy who got paired with the big draws. Sometimes you need a boring yet very capable to let the big draws shine even brighter.

To paraphrase Cornette, he was the guy that worked with the guy who drew money.

That part's not really fair.  Ladder match with Rock at Summerslam, street fight with Foley at Rumble, teaming with Austin against Benoit and Jericho on Raw.  He had very memorable matches.  But again, his opponents were top notch.  He wasn't the guy to make a match on his own.

Hall of Famer: Yes.
Great worker: Yes.
Draw: Yes.

Pretty simple one. One of the most consistent workers of his era. Always in the mix for top billing and always a good enough worker to substantiate his spot, regardless of his relationship.

I didn't remember any one of those matches. He's just not a headliner to me. I am much older than you so maybe its just my memory going. All I can remember is  HHH is spitting water in the air that he stole from Gangrel.
I do remember one match from WCW when he wrestled Flair as Terror Ryzing.
I did meet him for an autograph session at a local mall when he was with Chyna but I remember Chyna more than him.

He'd be Chyna's bitch.
