This begs the question - how can anybody on the AL All Star Team be cleared to play if Judge cannot?

Well Judge tested positive and I assume everyone else didn't, even though I'm sure they were all tested through the contact tracing protocol.  But the next day or two might be interesting if more positives come up.

Kinda worked out for the Astros after all. Didn't get booed and didn't get COVID. LOL.

They’ve all tested positive for being cheaters and pussies.

Making their debuts on the Yankees major league roster today are Trey Amburgey, Hoy Jun Park, Greg Allen, and Rob Brantley. The first 2 Yankees fans have been clamoring to get a chance all year as the Yankees underperformed and they were tearing up AAA. Amburgey is in the staring lineup, playing RF in place of Judge.

What the hell happened tonight? Verdugo got hit with a ball from the crowd, Cora took the Red Sox off the field for an hour, but at some point a rain delay started, and they finally called the game?

No, the Red Sox left the field for like 5 minutes.  The game was delayed at the beginning by 50 minutes due to rain that never happened.  Then they start the game and it starts pouring.  They played 6 innings like that before calling it with the Yankees winning 3-1.  Gerritt Cole went all 6 innings for his 2nd consecutive complete game victory, which has to be some sort of record these days.  If they had just started on time, they would've probably gotten the game in.  I'm not sure what radar they were looking at.  But none of this had anything to do with the Verdugo incident, other than Cora apparently losing his mind when the umps told him to get his team back on the field ASAP because more rain was coming and he was holding things up. That 5 minute delay didn't mean much though.

I’m pretty sure it’s a requirement for most schools to notify parents if any kid gets it, but I’ll ask my wife. HIPAA doesn’t seem to apply to Covid, they just change the rules as they go along because this is such a “special” situation.

I assume that's the case, too.  There were one or two staff members at school who tested positive, but I can't recall a single in-person student who was positive despite the insistence of that scumbag Fauci that children are little different than adults.

I had 4 students (out of 18) test positive this year & one aide.  I'd say it was 2 incidents- one student and the aide tested positive the same week.  Months later a student returned from Florida and everyone in the family was positive and got severely sick (3 elementary kids & a parent.)  A couple of days later 2 more students tested positive.
As was explained earlier, families can be notified of medical info as long as the student's name remains confidential. It's not new or "special"  I had do do it 10 years ago when a student tested positive for MRSA.

Yankees ace Gerrit Cole is now out with Covid. He was supposed to pitch tomorrow and Aaron Boone was informed in the 2nd inning of tonight’s game.
