Lesnar on the mic has become really, really good. Him playing with the crowd with the "What?" chants was gold and shows you the glimpse of Lesnar who still has fun in this business from time to time.  But the whole promo and this whole run has been strong.

Yep, easily one of the most entertaining guys to watch in the entire company.

What was the backstory of the Viking Raiders suddenly appearing on Raw?  Did anyone catch it?

You expect backstory about the Viking Raiders?  lol   If you want some semblance of a serious answer, it seemed to be a combined Raw/SD show for WM week.

Lashley's the face, so I'm guessing he gets to slam Omos before he jobs perhaps?  Knowing WWE, they'll probably have MVP show up and turn on Lashley and go with Omos.

So they jobbed Ricochet as I_c champ in about 2 minutes against Austin Theory, as if there aren't a million other jobbers they could've used in that spot. Now I'm really interested in seeing that I-C title defense.

Are the Street Profits heels now? I have no idea. Shouldn't things at least be clear before a WM match?

I guess it makes as much sense as turning Edge like 3 weeks before WM.

They broke three of my basic booking rules on Raw:

-do not have a single wrestler win a handicap match;

-do not have singles specialists go over established tag teams (tbf that was the same match);

-do not job champions in non-title matches.

What was painfully apparent from the show was that nobody gives the slightest shit about Omos. They piped in the crowd noise but there was zero reaction, the audience was staring gormlessly. And it's not surprising as a) the Viking Raiders had been popular and were then being jobbed to this malco-ordinated goof, and b) he couldn't even throw a fucking clothesline correctly. People ragged on JBL for not being as good with his as Stan Hansen, but JBL's looked like it would hurt. Omos' just looked like he'd had a stroke.

Meanwhile seemingly half of the show was devoted to promoting Seth Rollins, in an angle that nobody gives a toss about, and Kevin Owens, in another angle that nobody gives a toss about. A massive Wrestlemania build for something that is not going to be a match, and in which everyone knows what will happen.

This has literally been standard booking for WWE now for 20-25 years.  All 3 are so commonplace that it barely merits outrage anymore.

Last night's fans chanted "what?" at pretty much everyone who held a microphone.  These fans that like to go into business for themselves and ruin every promo make me miss the Thunderdome lol.  I miss the days of fans going to the show to watch it, not try and take it over.

They tried that shit on Eddie Kingston and he shut them down in 3 seconds.  Lesnar mostly did too by just going along with it.  If the rest of the WWE roster doesn't know how to manage a crowd, that's on them.

Another angle on that would be to do promos backstage with the crowd mics turned down and do actual wrestling in the ring. I know that makes me sound like an 80 year old Jim Cornette though.

Correct. But (and I think we already said the same thing recently) it's not just that they don't know how, they are actively taught not to. That stupid fuckin cadence in nearly everyone's  delivery perfectly feeds 'WHAT?!' and they've been doing it for twenty years or more.
Sidenote: Eddie Kingston rules.
