Out there looking like a reject from Chikara.

He needed a gimmick change, but man that costume does him no favors.  He even looks chubby in it, and the mask doesn't even seem to fit.  This definitely is an indy gimmick and costume if ever there was one.

WWE has signed "Cheer" star Gabi Butler, which has made some mainstream headlines. "Cheer" was a popular Netflix docuseries from 2020-2022 about teen cheerleaders that unfortunately became best known for all the wrong reasons as one of the male cheerleaders on the show, Jerry Harris, wound up getting arrested for soliciting minor boys and is now doing 12 years in jail. WWE presumably hopes Butler turns out to be a news-maker for better reasons.

The relationship began when Butler met Stehanie McMahon Summerslam weekend and they hit it off and Butler convinced Stephanie of her passion for the business and the similarities between cheerleading and wrestling.  Butler also impressed with her personality and how she handled public appearances while promoting "Cheer", which included appearances on Ellen DeGeneres and other talk shows.  Butler will begin training at the PC soon, but there are no plans to put her on TV for quite a while as she has zero experience.

My favorite part is them blurring out Rey’s face in his wedding picture in the background. He should’ve shown greater commitment to the gimmick and got married in his mask just in case such a situation arose in the future. Poor foresight.

Fightful reports that Randy Orton had a double fusion of his lower back. There is no timetable for his return, no creative plans for him moving forward, and no guarantee that he’ll be able to wrestle again.  It’s a similar, but even more serious, injury as the one thst kept Shawn Michaels out of action for 4 years.

Yeah, he'll be jobbing to a cruiserweight on tv real soon.

Well they wrote it into the show and he'll be facing Ricochet next week.  I'll laugh my ass off if they job him.

Cole trolls Strowman by calling his match with Omos a 5-star classic, and then they job him to Ricochet. They set up Strowman vs. Gunther though.

Tonight on Smackdown (11/25), Strowman gets distracted by Gunther/Walter, and does a job to Ricochet, obviously for his comments a while back.  There goes his credibility.

I guess I'd feel better about that if Ricochet hadn't been used as a jobber so much during the last year and a half.  They just wind up bringing another guy down in my eyes.

HHH has been using him a little better.  The Twitter feud was between Strowman and Mustafa Ali, but Ricochet got this match instead.  I assume there's a reason for that and a push coming.

Sarah Logan officially changed her name to Valhalla tonight as the Viking Raiders squashed Hit Row.  I don't know why Hit Row were even brought back to be full-fledged jobbers every week, but it makes me chuckle because Top Dolla is such a pompous ass.

Fightful is reporting this this video amassed more than 7.5 million views in less than 24 hours across all platforms, beating out even the Jake Paul viral videos. Suffice it to say, WWE is thrilled with this feud and the Dominick Misterio haters will be sorely disappointed if they think he’s going to be de-pushed anytime soon.

I really didn't care for anything Dominic did the past year until he joined Judgement Day and Rhea Ripley. He's interesting to watch now. He's probably the weakness member of Judgement Day but he brings the most heat. Imagining bring some chick to Thanksgiving dinner who looks like Rhea Ripley just cracks me up.

HHH has been using him a little better.  The Twitter feud was between Strowman and Mustafa Ali, but Ricochet got this match instead.  I assume there's a reason for that and a push coming.

Meltzer reports that HHH is high on both Ricochet and Escobar and their final round match should get some time and is expected to be a showcase.  They have history together from their Prince Puma vs. King Cuerno rivalry in Lucha Underground and are comfortable working together and can have a hell of a match if given a chance, which is the plan.

Internal sources denied that Strowman's loss was a punishment and it was more of a creative decision to continue his feud with Gunther and set up the better match for the finals, but obviously it was a big upset loss for a guy who rarely jobbed during his first run and the loss combined with Ricochet then running back to save him and the two shaking hands afterwards certainly seemed like a message was sent.  Strowman continues to have heat in the locker room.

WWE released this video, which I assume will be the open to War Games tonight. It’s a tremendous video starring Ozzy, one of the best they’ve done in a decade.

This is really sad.  You are telling me that this is the best video they’ve done in YEARS.  I’m telling you that before I stopped watching in 2014, videos like this were normal and expected.  So they’ve stopped with these now as a normal thing?  Jesus, that’s weak.  Hopefully this is a sign that HHH wants to bring the glory back to the WWE.  And that I look forward to.  These hype videos some years were better than the PPV attached to them.  And granted, it’s not PPV anymore, it’s a fucking Premium Live Event, but that gives them no excuse to treat them like premium.  And this was a premium video and I loved it.
