I have, for many years, believed that only assholes drink Grey Goose vodka. Still batting 1.000 on that.

Dodged a bullet on that one.  Ketel One has always been my brand, and when I'm slumming it Absolut makes for a surprisingly good quality but more affordable alternative.  But I mostly just judge people who drink Tito's.

The court stole the money mark’s money. LOL

PWInsider:

WKMG News 6 ClickOrlando featured a story on WWE Hall of Famer Tammy "Sunny" Sytch being remanded to jail and having her bond revoked through the duration of her DUI Manslaughter trial in Florida over the weekend

In the story, Sytch's boyfriend James Pente commented on the court's decision.

Described as Sytch's fiance in the story, Pente commented, "I think that this whole process. Everybody's been hurt, not just the family...they should have decided she was a threat to society before they granted a $225,000 bond and we pay $22,000."

Pente told WESH TV that he felt "horrible for that guy's family" in regard to Pente but that the court should have made a decision before taking "$22,000 of my money."

Sytch will be arrainged on numerous charges including DUI Manslaughter on 5/31 at 2:30 PM EST.

Why does no one seem to know how bail bondsmen work?

WWE Hall of Famer Tammy "Sunny" Sytch was unable to be served with the lawsuit brought against her by the estate of Julian Lasseter, who passed away back in March during the fatal traffic incident involving Sytch in Ormond Beach, Florida, because she's jailed in Florida, which led to the process server handling the lawsuit to report back to the court that they were unable to find Sytch at home in New Jersey, where they attempted to serve her. Sytch's boyfriends James Pente had been previously served in Florida. Records related to the lawsuit note that the suit is now seeking in excess of $100,000. Sytch and Pente have not responded to the lawsuit as of yet. What will most likely happen is that Sytch will be served in Florida as soon as the process server figures out where she is.

Sytch is facing nine charges stemming from the death Julian Lasseter this past March, including with one count of DUI causing death (DUI Manslaughter, a felony in the third degree), one count of causing death while operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked driver’s license (a felony in the third degree), four counts of DUI causing injury to a person, and three counts of DUI causing damage to property. While Sytch had her bond revoked and was remanded back to jail on 5/13 through her potential trial, she is slated to be arraigned on 5/31 at 2:30 PM and it is expected her defense attorney will attempt to petition the court against holding her behind bars.

With Sytch now remanded to a Florida jail for the foreseeable future, there is no way she will make her hearing this Thursday 5/26 at the Keansburg Municipal Court in New Jersey. For that case, Sytch is facing eleven different charges, including Operating under the influence of liquor or drug, Driving after Driver’s License/Registration suspended/revoked, Careless Driving - likely to endanger person or property, Reckless Driving, Failure to wear seat equipment - responsibility of driver, Driving without a license, Failure to possess a driver's license, Failure to possess driving registration, Failure to possess an insurance card, Failure to install interlock or drive a car without an interlock, and Operating a motor vehicle during a license suspension - second violation. She was arrested on 2/24 and the belief is that New Jersey will wait for the Florida proceedings to unfold before moving forward, but that’s not 100% locked in stone.

Beyond those charges, Sytch is also facing charges of allegedly threatening to kill an "intimate partner" while raising a pair of scissors "in the air towards the victim" during a domestic dispute that led to an arrest on 1/13, also in New Jersey, fo. The police report for Sytch's January arrest stated that she did this in clear view of a police officer who witnessed the incident. The arrest report also stated that Sytch "appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol" during the altercation. Her "intimate partner" was not injured. In that incident, Sytch was charged with two charges of illegally possessing a weapon (the scissors) and one charge of terroristic threats, listed as "occurring during a state of emergency." She was released from Monmouth County Correctional on 1/14 after a hearing where she was ordered to have weekly check-ins with the court and that she not possess any weapons. The 5/26 hearing would have also covered these charges.

As previously reported on PWInsidercom, Steven deLaroche, the attorney representing WWE Hall of Famer Tammy "Sunny" Sytch in her criminal proceedings regarding her DUI Manslaughter charges in Florida filed a motion asking the court's permission to withdraw as her legal representation on 6/16.

Judge Karen Fox, who is presiding over Sytch's criminal case for the Circuit Court of Volusia County, Florida had scheduled a hearing in the matter for 6/30 at 9 AM. Earlier today, Judge Fox moved the hearing up to tomorrow 6/23 at 3:30 PM to expedite matters and get the case moving forward.

deLaroche, in his motion on 6/16, requested to be removed as Sytch's attorney, citing:

- An impasse has been reached in the handling of the case, making it impossible for the client and attorney to continue to work cooperatively on the case.

-The client has not complied with the terms of the employment agreement with this attorney.

-The client will not be prejudiced if the undersigned is permitted to withdraw.

The court has yet to approve or deny deLaroche's request.

Sytch has been incarcerated for 40 days and counting while awaiting trial, which has yet to be officially scheduled. The 6/30 hearing had been on the books as a private pre-trial hearing not open to the public

Tammy Sytch in detention; at best a long stretch in an institution might be the catalyst that leads to her rehabilitation, at worst she's isolated from the public and won't be able to inflict harm upon others.

I see nothing bad coming from the continuation of her present situation ad infinitum.
