Here we go!  This is shaping up to be one of the greatest cross-brand Premium Live Events of all time.  We get one mid card Smackdown match and a main eventer Cody Rhodes is seriously injured.  Gonna be epic everybody.

Looks like the Raw Women's Championship match is first.  Becky Lynch vs. Asuka vs. Bianca Belair (Champion).

Somewhere in there he mentions having all his hair (unlike Lashley) and that he has "brains like Heenan" which was the best line.

Handicap match is next.  MVP/Omos vs. Bobby Lashley.

I kind of feel like this is the stupidest handicap match ever.  The giant is supposed to go against two people, not the smaller guy.  All this after MVP leaves Lashley to go with Omos AFTER Lashley beat him at Wrestlemania.  It's all backwards.

Omos "spears" (not really) Lashley through the barricade.  It's kind of funny now because it's always the same barricade like a gimmicked toy or a video game.

Cedric Alexander comes in despite MVP telling him he can't be a Hurt Business jobber anymore.  That gets Omos distracted and Lashley spears him clearing Omos from the ring.  As you predicted, Lashley uses the Hurt Lock to defeat MVP for the win.

This is possibly the dumbest feud in WWE history but Owens has somehow elevated it to merely bad.

Kevin Owens wins with a stunner.  Excellent match, but no surprise.  Two of the best guys in the company.

Agreed on the feud.  Kevin Owens is probably the best promo in the company, so that has helped this goofy storyline.

The mixed 6-man tag is next.  The Judgement Day (Edge/Rhea Ripley/Damian Priest) vs. AJ Styles/Finn Balor/Liv Morgan.  I feel like this one has already played out a couple times on Raw, but here it come anyway.

Backstage segment with Lashley and Cedric Alexander.  Cedric turns face for sure here.  No idea where Shelton Benjamin has been.

The only Smackdown match is next.  Madcap Moss vs. not Baron, not Constable, not King, not Broke, but the Big Bald Wolf Happy Corbin.  Pat McAfee basically joked about Smackdown finally making the PPV when this match was announced on Friday.

Vince seems to pretty much be giving almost all of the titles a rest, but we do get a second title match here with Austin Theory defending the U.S. Title against Mustafa Ali.

Did both men get their first names back tonight?  I thought the announcers said full names.

Cody’s right side is purple and unsightly and he’s selling the hell out of the injury. For his sake I hope they’re dramatizing the injury and it’s not that bad.

I think I heard them both.  I heard Madcap was planned to drop Moss, but he had all of his tonight as well.

So now that Cody beat Seth AGAIN with a severe injury, what was the point of this feud and how can Seth be taken seriously?

It is vinceland so he is bulletproof in vince's mind but this was the perfect time to get a cody L out of the way.

Exactly.  They just beat one of the only main eventers they have left three PPV's in a row.

I was expecting him to win.  I'm guessing Cody wins simply because everyone expected Rollins to get one here.

Only two title matches tonight, only one Smackdown match.  No titles change hands.  I feel like this show is the most evidence that PPV's really don't matter anymore.  They are just extra shows now.

The best thing I can say about the PPV is that nothing on it was bad. They’ve had some PPVs that were embarrassing recently. This one was just instantly forgettable. Everyone had a decent match though, there was just no reason to watch any of them.

I just don’t want to hear anyone complaining that WWE PPVs are basically free and AEW charges $50. There’s no comparison between the two, and you get what you pay for. WWE treats these like regular TV shows now.

PWInsider:

After WWE Hell in A Cell went off the air, a crying Cody Rhodes took the mic and said that he would discuss his injury more tomorrow on Raw and thanked everyone for coming to the show.

Rhodes apologized to the fans for being hurt and said that he wanted everyone to know that no one made him come out to perform and that he made that decision. He said came out "here" by myself and nothing was going to stop him from reaching his goal.
