I'd finally started going when Covid hit 2 years ago, and was reduced to walking a bunch of miles each day for @ 6 months till things opened up again. The walking was good, but it also led to too much weight loss and I dropped down into the 240's (which for me was too light, felt like I'd lost too much strength)

So when I got back I mixed things up

Some days I just do the treadmill for 90 minutes. Other days it's arms/shoulders and others legs/abdominal. I'll try to get in at least 3 days during the week, sometimes up to 5. I've also started doing occasional walks to the gym (2.7 miles) workout, then walk back.

My eating habits still suck though, especially when my wife is travelling (like now with her in Malaysia for 3 weeks, I'm too lazy to cook for myself all the time), so weight wise it balances things out and I stay in the 265 range.

But I've noticed though that the weight totals have slowly increased. I'll note each machine on my phone...how many reps, and what weight and for some machines, it's been at least a 50-100% inrease over the last year.

It's sort of odd that at almost 52 I can actually lift more than I could in my 20's and my cardio is actually either equivalent or at times better than when I was boxing.

Plus, bitches nowadays have much better outfits on than they did years ago.

I just ride the stationary bike to improve my cardio. I don’t eat well enough to see much of the way of a cosmetic improvement, but I have more wind than when I started.

Just bike riding and a lot of walking. Totally changed my diet. No soft drinks, Fast food, bread, potatoes. Drinking lots of water with apple cider vinegar. Just eating fish, chicken, eggs, salads. I am slowly heading for 170lbs. During pandemic I got up to 200 lbs.

My eating habits are pretty good.

I pretty much only buy fresh food (almost nothing processed) in my groceries. Eat very little sugary stuff, drink very little soft drinks (one a week, max).

I drink way too much alcohol.

I started religiously walking about 5 miles a day earlier this year. I used to walk a lot and got into bad habits with working from home and lockdowns and stuff but am back in a good routine.

I was about 220lbs a couple of months ago. I'm down to a shade under 200lb now. Still have a bit too much on the stomach and probably should work with weights too. But it's a start at least.

I do a serious amount of arm curls with a beer in my hand.

Seriously though, other than that it's mostly just walking.  Had a back injury many years ago that prevents me from doing most physical exercises, like weights, situps, pushups, crunches, that sort of thing.

Depending on how energetic I feel and how hot it is I'll walk into town 8.1 km and sometimes back depending on if I have the dogs with me.  One's ok to walk with but I seriously think the other one might be retarded. When she comes along it seems to take twice as long just one way.

We don't eat much in the way of junk food as those types of places are scarce unless we go into MurderPeg.  if we want pizza, burgers, fried chicken etc. we just make our own.  We we do go into the city and want to eat we are typically going to a good sushi place or dim sum.

I'm a bit over my ideal weight but it's all bought and paid for so I don't give a fuck.  The girlfriend could eat a horse and not gain an ounce.

I lift 3-4 days a week in my home gym. I picked up a monster rack from Rogue a year or so ago and I typically bench, squat, shrug, curl, behind the neck press, T-bar row, upright row, ring pushup, dip.

I also have a heavy bag hanging off it that I hit 2-3 days a week.

I Jump rope once or twice a week & walk with my wife 5-6 days a week.

I have a NordicTrack stationary bike but I hate it so I don't ride it but the kids use it for cardio on their off days from sports.

My diet is still red meat heavy but it's 90% grass fed local beef with only the occasional feed lot cut.

I have lost 20 lbs since 1st of year due to much improved diet and exercise.

Body weight, DDP yoga, light weights, and movement drills. Have a set of Lebert bars for dips and body weight rows, and ab work.

However my diet has slipped a little recently and I currently have a raging case of tennis elbow that is inhibiting me. Thought I had a possible hernia about 6 weeks ago but I think just strain.

Dammit getting old sucks

Do 12 oz curls and the five knuckle shuffle count?

My wife and I work out together at home and enjoy doing programs from Beachbody. P90x, P90x+, Insanity etc. We will mix and match a lot of stuff from there too including some MMA and boxing workouts. And before you say anything. I am not able to fight and don’t pretend to be able to but, this most recent boxing program we did over the past six weeks kicked my ass into an entirely new gear. Throwing all those punches and combos, combined with some weight training, agility training, and core exercises added even greater cardio endurance. I feel great.

I feel great.Boxing is an awesome workout.  So is kickboxing or any form of grappling.
Wish I had ligaments and tendons left.
