I have been kicking around the idea of doing my own results site.  I know there are already lots of them out their for all areas and territories, and on certain workers.

But I think there is room enough for another one yet on the internet.   I am seriously debating doing a website just on my own research.  I can rival a lot of wrestling results sites that are based on just one territory.  I have tons of stuff from the late 1800's up to the mid 80's that is not on the internet anywhere else.   This stuff is not copied from other sites, nor is is from anybodies disc's they released or from magazines and newsletters.

The WWWF in the 70's I have around 100 results and more, for each year, that are not on the internet or record books and etc, that I have not made publicly known.  Clawmaster, WrongLee, and others can testify to that.  I have been breaking down the Capitol promotion city by city.  In doing this I have learned the patterns of certain cities such as this example and more like it for say..  1975 through 1977.  No other sites reflect the results for these cities on the following schedules.

North Attleboro = every Friday
Albany, NY = every other Friday
Philadelphia, PA  arena = 2 Saturdays per month
North Dartmouth = every 3 weeks on Mondays
Portland, ME = every 3 weeks on Tuesdays
Philadelphia, PA  TV   = every 3 weeks on Tuesdays
Bangor, ME = every 3 weeks on Wednesdays
Hamburg, PA TV  = every 3 weeks on Wednesdays
Worcester, NY = every 3 weeks on Thursdays
Pughkeepsie, NY = every 3 weeks on Thursdays

I have been told by a few that I should do a Capitol results site because I stop my research in the late 70's, and I have tons of the later 50's and early 60's stuff.  No one else is really doing anything research wise for this promotion.   If I donate all my stuff to the other sites out their as I used to do, as said to me by others,  "then you will just blend in with anyone else who just submits one result to that site".  I do have to agree with that statement.   My name just blends in with other names at sites now,  or my name turns into "results donated by others". and "various others donated".  If you were me and you gave away tons of stuff, or complete histories of cities for years and years...   and you don't see your name with it...   It would be a let down after all the hours and money spent on it.   And unfortunately that is how it is right now,  I just blend in.

Some say, and some all but demand I give everything to Graham Cawthorns site, to which i have already given hundreds and hundreds of results to, but yet I look like Nick the new guy, who gives just one result that isn't even reliable.  So their is no gain at all for me doing that.

So I am debating opening a new results site.  Yes I realize that my stuff once it hits the net, is available to anyone to copy.  But at least I can say it came from my sites.

So thoughts and or opinions are very welcomed.

It's a great idea Ron. CWC from 58 to 63 has always interested me. And now thanks to you I've gotten interested in stuff earlier than that.

Ron has always been great to me. Given me hundreds and hundreds of cards. I couldn't even try to put an exact figure on the numbers of cards Ron has given me. Lets just say 1000+ because I know the number is more than one thousand.

Been super busy in real life and havent been around or online much at all lately.  Bought a VW diesel Pick up truck as a project vehicle.  All the body work is done escept a few little things underneath.  I am also now assembling the engine which is sitting in my kitchen in pieces.  Yes I am single.  No girlfriend would put up witha  diesel engine sitting in the kitchen in pieces nor would they put up with me washing it int the bath tub.  So a complete rebuild on the bottom end, with everything brand new going into it except the crank and block.  Since I am planning a lot of long road travels, i might as well use a vehicle that is going to be giving me around 45 mpg.

Yes I am going to be doing a site like that for the WWWF.  It will naturally be done like I do my Graham record book.  Backed up by all the clippings I can find.  Naturaly the years of 1975 through the end of 1978 will be done first, becuase that is where I research the most for dates.  But in the meantime I have done what others have told me to do.  Take my ball and go home.  So that is why I have not dropped anything since the big drop to Cawthorns site of around 600 plus new listings that were not their, added to the thousands I had already given thier for those 4 selective years.  I can say I own the vast majority of reasearch for the 1975 through 1978 stuff at Cawthorns.   Sad thing is their still not all added from back then, and yet others are now repeating what i already dropped off.  Sad it is.  :(

Right now I am also in the process of trying to "buy/bid" on two domin names.  So that is also taking up my time, and I hope it will not be to salty on the pocket book.  I have done everything i can think of to bid and get the one domain name.  Time will tell.  I have my fingers crossed.
