Fargo was better but I liked Lawler based on that he played both a good guy and a bad guy pretty effectively.

Another reason I took Lawler is that I think he was a bit "bigger" on a national level and got out of that "Memphis only" stigma but still maintained his roots and image there.

Also Lawler's infatuation with girls half his age wasn't so bad in the 70s as opposed to now where it's just creepy.

I don't know about that.  Being 24 and going after 12 year olds seems worse to me than being 50 and going after 25 year olds.

I dunno how old he is. Wasn't he (say 36 years old) by the time 1980 rolled around (which would make him 65 years old now) - he probably isn't too far off from that.

But being 60-65 years old and wanting age 20-25 is just as creepy in my opinion.

You're making him much older than he is.  He hasn't even turned 60 yet.
